The Point School Mother's Club sponsors the Santa Secret Shoppe every December. Students have the opportunity to purchase beautiful handmade gifts for their families. The Mother's Club sponsors a monthly Donuts with Dad event and also helps with the Fall Festival and school picnic. At the start of the school year, Mother's Club helps with kindergarten orientation and holds the ice cream social/yearbook signing at the end of the year.
The school truly benefits from the hard work of the Mother's Club. Members of the club hold monthly meetings to discuss current school events, hear from the principal, enjoy fun programs, and meet new friends.
The Point School Parent Teacher Organization, PTO, sponsors a monthly family event. Students are welcomed back to school at the annual Ice Cream Social. The PTO sponsors Curriculum Night/Open House in September. The Fall Festival is held ever October and Movie Night in November. The adult trivia Night is held in January and another Movie Night in February, and the grand finale is the Spring School Picnic. The PTO holds its board meetings on the first Monday evening each month and all parents are welcome. Many volunteers are needed to make the PTO events successful and Point parents always pitch-in to help. The PTO sponsors the Entertainment Book fundraiser each fall and purchases many needed items for the school. |
